The real estate industry has played a significant role fostering and upholding practices that have resulted in red lining and unfair housing.

In the Let’s Make unFair Housing History campaign, we’re asking people/REALTORS® to look inside themselves, ask hard questions and make a renewed commitment to the tenets of Fair Housing. We aim to evoke both pride and contemplation: pride in the work that NAR is part of to make changes, and personal introspection by each and every REALTOR®. 

There have been successes, but there is obviously still work to do. Marginalized communities need a voice to be their advocate. NAR is in the perfect position to be that strong, thoughtful and powerful voice as we march forward into the future.
